Our first fall seminar of 2010 addressed the concept of 21st century skills, and the attributes required of successful individuals. MIT Professor Michael Cima, who holds nearly 50 patents in a variety of medical and scientific areas, spoke with our participants about the qualities, training, and knowledge he has observed in innovators and team leaders.
Strong Women Strong Girls is a non profit organization that builds mentor relationships between female college students and middle school girls in underserved or at-risk communities. Their curriculum is based on a series of biographies and investigations of women who have modeled the traits of leadership, confidence, and strength that girls need to succeed.
