Our first fall seminar, 21st Century Skills and the Educational System, was a great success. We were pleased to welcome guests from other educational institutions and youth service organizations. Our conversations ranged from the uses of social media to the attributes of entrepreneurs and the essential skill of global citizenship. Still to come will be our next seminar on Wednesday, December 8, when we will host

Developmental Learning: The Intersection of Theory and Practice

How does our knowledge of children’s development affect our decisions about curriculum, lesson planning, classroom organization, and behavioral expectations? Together with experienced psychologists and educators, we will discuss the implications of cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development on our work.
