National, state, district, and site-based standards have become increasingly data-driven, with test scores and performance measurements determining school standingsĀ Our discussion will focus on the implications of these issues for individual educators, and their effects on our own practice.
Our spring seminar series focuses on the range of pedagogical, legislative, policy-oriented, and professional challenges facing educators today. Each of our daylong programs will engage participants in discussions, case studies, and presentations about a specific issue. Our sessions emphasize connections collaboration, and reflection.
